We have a corner in the back yard that has wild sunflowers growing and blooming. They are taller than the privacy fence. I told the meter reader that I would have them cleared out the next time she came, but that isn't going to happen. Black cap chickadees and yellow birds are eating the seeds and I can't bear to cut their snacks down and throw them away.
