Goodbye, Pops and Lela

We had such a wonderful time with you. We were so sad when we had to drop you off at the airport -- as you went inside and we drove away the Boogie wept loudly and called for you over and over, which made me cry even more than I already was. Please come visit us again as soon as you can!

Aww, I'm so sorry they had to leave. :( Whenever my FIL comes to visit us and my SIL, he always stays with us first, so that we don't have to drop him off at the airport because our kids cry so hard. The other cousins are a little older and apparently not as emotionally. It's such a sad scene. I hope you all are adjusting to them being gone.

This made me cry. I've done the goodbye thing for over 20 years. Thankfully, my mom lives near me now. I'm so glad you got to have the visit and take lots of pictures. TREASURE them! :-) Thank you for sharing also.

One of the hardest things to do is to say goodbye to your parents after you or they have visited. I've been away from my folks now for 26 years and there are times that leaving them is very difficult to do. I am so glad the Lord saw fit to have them come out and visit with you, your man and the Boogie. God knows are needs and desires doesn't he? PTL!
