This year I am thankful for:
-My salvation. It is forever beyond my ability to comprehend why God would send His precious Son to die for me. I am so grateful.
-God's Word. I don't know where I would be without this Book to comfort me and give me answers.
-My husband. He is God's gift to me, my completer, my companion, the only man for me! He makes it very clear on a daily basis that he loves me ... I don't deserve him but I'm thankful for him.
-Our daughter. She is God's gift to us, our sweet little girl. Her smile and laughter and happy voice bring me joy every day.
-Our families. We both have wonderful families. I never want to take that for granted. It is so awesome to live close and see the Boogie growing up with her cousins.
-Our health.
-Our home.
-Our church. Fundamental in Bible teaching and preaching. Truth is taught, whether it's popular or not. Missions are supported, financially and prayerfully. Music is worshipful and honoring to the Lord. Every part of the family is ministered to. People are friendly!
-Our jobs (soon to be just one job!) DH is paid a good wage and has plenty of work. He enjoys what he does, which I think is very important. My boss has been incredibly good to me. Today is my last day and I am sad and happy at the same time.
-My friends. You know who you are! Many of us have been friends for years and years. We've had good times, shared lots of laughs, been there for each other during the down times, and encouraged each other over and over.
-Our vehicles. Last but not least, I'm so thankful for cars that run and run and run, heat and air conditioning that works, and CD players so we can listen to Barney and Disney silly songs which make travelling with the Boogie bearable ...
We are leaving tomorrow on the looooong drive to Kentuckyland where we will not have internet access. I hope y'all have a great Thanksgiving this year!

Rachel, your blog brought tears to my eyes this morning. We share a love for similar things. I could've written this myself! It made me love YOU even more. I'm so thankful YOU are the answer to prayer I prayed for Eric for years. What a gem. Happy Thanksgiving!
